Grant 4 month check-up

Grant is getting so big. He is growing way too fast!

Grant had his 4 month check-up on Monday. He weighed 15lb 11oz and was 26 1/4 in long. I don't remember his head measurements I just remember it was average.

I went to this appointment by myself and I was worried about the shots. He did way better then I expected....he didn't even cry. I was so proud!

We also started him on green beans baby food. He seems to love them. Three days so far and he's doing great. I think we might be on to sweet potato next. I have some pictures to share but it will have to be at a later date. I don't have them on the computer yet.

Football Season/ Labor Day weekend

I love this time of year! Fall weather is approciating and it's time for some football! I usually only keep up with Alabama and Troy. Other then that I don't really care. I will pull for a SEC team when they play some else but i'm not going to get upset over the outcome.

This weekend we went to Brittany and DJ's to watch the Alabama vs.Virginia Tech game. We didn't have a babysitter so Grant had to come with us. He was so good!! He played and laughed. We had him dressed in his Alabama onsie and socks.

We also bought him his first ball Sunday. It is a small soft alabama football. TOO CUTE! He played Sunday night with it. Of course it went straight to his mouth....haha. Pictures will be posted soon.

I can't believe how much he has grown. We weighed him Sunday and he weighes 15 1/2 lbs. He is growing so fast. We get to start him on baby food soon. I bought some Monday when I went grocery shopping, Green beans, Sweet Potato, and Bananas. I'm so excited!! Daddy is not so excited b/c of the poop change that will occur!

All in all we had a great relaxing weekend. We need more of those! I hope everyone has a great week!

Nice weekend

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Friday night Andrew and I went to eat at Mossy Grove and went to the movies to see GI Joe. It wasn't my choice of movie but I actually enjoyed it more then I thought I would. Grant was with his Auntie Donna. I forgot to pack his paci so when he got sleepy he gave them a good show....sorry!

Saturday we hosted a garden/tool shower for Josh and Nicole. It turned out to be very nice. We took Grant with us. He actually ended up sleeping most of the time. The weather was beautiful!!! Saturday night we stayed around the house. Andrew played on the computer and I read some of my book New Moon. So far it is really good. I was hesitant to get in the whole Twilight series but they are actually very good. I brought the book to read today during my lunch hour...haha!

Sunday we went to church. After we came home I went to Troy to go grocery shopping. Andrew cut the grass yesterday evening while I cleaned a little. Grant just talked and played as usual. He is such a wonderful baby.

Now we are just back to another week of work!

Busy Busy

We have been so busy lately I have been neglecting to blog. Here are some thinga to catch you up to date.

Grant is officially sleeping through the night now. He was occasionally doing it but now he does it every night. I'm working up the courage to move him from his pack n play in our room to his room. I'm sure he will be fine but I kind of like him in our room. He is growing so fast. He is also drooling a lot and always sucking on his fingers so I think he might be working on some teeth. He is also talking alot...it is the cutest thing in the world!

Last weekend Mimi came to visit. We had a really good time. Saturday morning we went to get Grants picture made. The rest of Mimi's visit we just hung around the house. Grant enjoyed seeing her just as much as i'm sure Mimi did!! Mimi is welcome anytime!!

Grant did so good, i'm so proud of him! Now i just have to decide which ones to order.


I have been busy with showers and wedding stuff. Andrew and I are in a wedding in Sept so I have been going to wedding shower just about every weekend. We are helping host a luau tool/garden shower this upcoming weekend. So like i said we have been busy busy! Hopefully everything will calm down soon!

Three months old

I can't believe Grant is three months old today! He is growing so fast! He wants to sit up all the time now. You still have to assist him but he loves it. He is also starting to drool a lot and blow spit bubbles...haha! He still isn't sleeping all night every night. He picks and chooses which nights he sleeps all night, usually it's daddies night. After you feed him and change him he goes right back to sleep, so it's not that bad. He is still drinking 6 oz at a time....he will go 3 1/2-4 hours in between. Other then that he is doing great. I love him so much!

We are going to get his picture made this weekend. I'm so excited! I hope we get some good ones. I will have to post the website so you can go and check them out when they are ready. Until next time.....Have a good week!

Busy Busy Busy

We are extremely busy these days. I feel like we are always on the go and never have time to sit and relax. We went to the beach last weekend. This morning we went to Maddie's 2nd b-day party and tonight Andrew and I are going on a dinner and movie date. Grant is staying the night with his Nana tonight. Tomorrow we have church and then I have a bridal shower for Nicole .

Next weekend we have VBS at church. And the following weekend Mimi is coming in town. That Sat we are going to take Grant to get his picture made and Sunday I have a lingerie shower i'm helping host for Nicole. So like I said we are BUSY BUSY!!

I've been neglecting this blog but I want to try and keep it up better...... and keep posting pictures of Grant. He is getting so big! Grant is growing so fast. He likes to sit up now. I can't belive he is fixing to be 3 months old.I will try to post some new pictures soon!
