4- D ultrasound

Tuesday Feb17th we went to the doc for our normal visit and for out 4-d ultrasound. Baby Grant weighs 2lb 15oz and he has a good bit of hair already! Our boy wasn't very cooperative with the picture taking. He must get that from his daddy! He kept hiding his face with his hands but we did get a few shots. Everything else went good with the visit. I go back March 17th and they are going to try and finish the 4-d since we didn't get many pictures. Enjoy!

Relaxing weekend

We had a very fun and relaxing weekend. The weather was so nice!
Friday night we went to see "Bear Country" at the Shakespeare festival. It was so funny. I really enjoyed it. Sat I went to Dothan for a little while and came back to go to Jace's 1st birthday party. At the last minute we have some unexpected guest and we ended up missing the birthday party. Sunday we went to church and then ate at Grandma's. We stayed over there most of the day playing outside with Maddie. The weather was beautiful!!

I'm really looking forward to next week. We have Monday off of work and Tuesday we are going to get our 4-d ultrasound of baby Grant! I'm so excited. Also, my mother is coming in town for this...so i'm happy about getting to spend time with her!

New Ride

I got a new car last night. It's a 2008 Nissan Altima. It's not completely brand new but it's super nice, low miles....and still under warranty!! I'm so excited! It's a dark grey (slate) with dark grey almost black interior. Anyways, i just thought I would share the good news! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

wonderful weekend

This past weekend was so nice. We went to Dothan Saturday and ate lunch with Andrew's mom. We went and registered at Target and Babies r us for baby Grant. It was so much fun! We still have to register at Walmart for the older ladies at church, but we will do that some time soon.

We also went and looked at new cars. I have been having some car trouble and Andrew has convinced me to trade in my Jeep. I'm looking at the Chevrolet Malibu and the Altima. I like them both very much. I also love the gas mileage, especially compared to my Jeep.

Sunday we did the usual.... church, eat at Grandma's, and then relax around house. Tonight we are going to Santa Fe to eat with Whitney for her 21st b-day! Happy birthday Whitney!!

Doctor Appointment

Yesterday I went back to the docotor for my normal monthly appointment. I passed my sugar test for gestational diabetes. Everything else was normal. I only gained 4 lbs last month, putting me at 16lbs, so far. They say most women gain anywhere from 25-30lbs.... so i'm on the right track. Next month when I go back we get to do the 4-d ultrasound. I'm super excited about that! I can't wait to see what our beautiful little boy looks like. I also went shopping after the doctor appointment yesterday. It was the first time since I found out we are having a boy. I got some really cute outfits! Now we have just got to work on the nursery!

Sick

I have come down with some sort of cold. I'm guessing it's due to this hot/cold weather. I was out of work Wed and Thur but I did return today. The worse thing about getting a cold when being pregnant is you can't take medicine. I gargled salt water every couple hours and took a couple tylenol, when needed for aches. There isn't much else you can do. I feel a ton better today but sill have the drainage.

I am so glad today is Friday and we have Monday off of work . I go to the doctor Monday for my normal visit. I have to take the blood sugar test this time. Hopefully everything will turn out normal. I'm curious to see how much weight I have gained since last month. My stomach is definitely out there....especially my belly button. haha
