We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Friday night Andrew and I went to eat at Mossy Grove and went to the movies to see GI Joe. It wasn't my choice of movie but I actually enjoyed it more then I thought I would. Grant was with his Auntie Donna. I forgot to pack his paci so when he got sleepy he gave them a good show....sorry!
Saturday we hosted a garden/tool shower for Josh and Nicole. It turned out to be very nice. We took Grant with us. He actually ended up sleeping most of the time. The weather was beautiful!!! Saturday night we stayed around the house. Andrew played on the computer and I read some of my book New Moon. So far it is really good. I was hesitant to get in the whole Twilight series but they are actually very good. I brought the book to read today during my lunch hour...haha!
Sunday we went to church. After we came home I went to Troy to go grocery shopping. Andrew cut the grass yesterday evening while I cleaned a little. Grant just talked and played as usual. He is such a wonderful baby.
Now we are just back to another week of work!

Busy Busy
We have been so busy lately I have been neglecting to blog. Here are some thinga to catch you up to date.
Grant is officially sleeping through the night now. He was occasionally doing it but now he does it every night. I'm working up the courage to move him from his pack n play in our room to his room. I'm sure he will be fine but I kind of like him in our room. He is growing so fast. He is also drooling a lot and always sucking on his fingers so I think he might be working on some teeth. He is also talking alot...it is the cutest thing in the world!
Last weekend Mimi came to visit. We had a really good time. Saturday morning we went to get Grants picture made. The rest of Mimi's visit we just hung around the house. Grant enjoyed seeing her just as much as i'm sure Mimi did!! Mimi is welcome anytime!!

I have been busy with showers and wedding stuff. Andrew and I are in a wedding in Sept so I have been going to wedding shower just about every weekend. We are helping host a luau tool/garden shower this upcoming weekend. So like i said we have been busy busy! Hopefully everything will calm down soon!

Three months old
I can't believe Grant is three months old today! He is growing so fast! He wants to sit up all the time now. You still have to assist him but he loves it. He is also starting to drool a lot and blow spit bubbles...haha! He still isn't sleeping all night every night. He picks and chooses which nights he sleeps all night, usually it's daddies night. After you feed him and change him he goes right back to sleep, so it's not that bad. He is still drinking 6 oz at a time....he will go 3 1/2-4 hours in between. Other then that he is doing great. I love him so much!
We are going to get his picture made this weekend. I'm so excited! I hope we get some good ones. I will have to post the website so you can go and check them out when they are ready. Until next time.....Have a good week!

Busy Busy Busy
We are extremely busy these days. I feel like we are always on the go and never have time to sit and relax. We went to the beach last weekend. This morning we went to Maddie's 2nd b-day party and tonight Andrew and I are going on a dinner and movie date. Grant is staying the night with his Nana tonight. Tomorrow we have church and then I have a bridal shower for Nicole .
Next weekend we have VBS at church. And the following weekend Mimi is coming in town. That Sat we are going to take Grant to get his picture made and Sunday I have a lingerie shower i'm helping host for Nicole. So like I said we are BUSY BUSY!!

1st family vacation
We went to the beach last weekend for our first family vacation. It was nice to get out of Troy for a couple days. Andrew and I laid out and swam Saturday while Nana watched Grant. Then we went to eat at Margaritaville. It was nice but very crowded. We came back to the room and decided to take a short nap. About three hours later Nana came and woke us up. I guess mommy and daddy were super tired. we went out on the beach to take some pictures. It was very windy so we didn't stay out there long. Then we changed and went to Shuckums to eat dinner. We came home and Andrew and Ryan played Wi while Nana and I played with Grant. Then we went to sleep. Sunday morning Andrew and I went to walk on the beach and collect a few shells. We packed up and headed to Thomas's Donuts. That was the first time I ever ate there and it was delicious. We left and headed back home after that. It was s short vacation but a well needed one.

2 month check -up
Grant is getting so big! He weighed 11lb 10oz and was 22 1/2 inches at his two month check-up. I can't believe he is already 2 months old. Time flies!!! Grant got three shots and one medicine by mouth. He loved the stuff by mouth but wasn't a fan of the shots. He cried of course which broke my heart! He was fine once we got in the car and started riding. He is such a good rider.
Everything else was fine. We did get him so new bottles to help with the gas...haha! He has a bit of an issue. The bottles seem to be working good. We got the Doctor Brown's. Grant also got some new PJ's and a Classic Looney Tunes DVD ( however, I think its more for Andrew). Usually when i get home after work they are sitting there watching it!

4th of July Weekend
We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!!
Andrew was off work on Friday, so he took Grant to meet Mimi and Pepaw in Greenville around 10AM . We let him have his first over night visit for the weekend. I thought I would get upset while he was gone but I did very well. We did have a busy weekend so I think it helped. Mimi and Pepaw also needed some alone bonding time with Grant.
Friday night we went to Chase's house and grilled out. Saturday I cleaned up around the house a little and then we went to Brittany and DJ"s 4th of July party. We had a good time minus some mud that got thrown in Andrew's eye. Of course, guys still act like children.
Sunday we slept late and then hung around the house until time to leave to go pick up Grant. He was really good on the way home. When we got back I held him and got in a few sniffs! haha, I also got a few new pics of him smiling! I love it when he smiles at me!!
