Andrew is home!!

Andrew is finally home!! I went Friday afternoon to pick him up from the Montgomery airport. It was so good to see his face and get a hug! I missed him terrribly. We didn't do anything Friday night except catch up on the DVR recording and go to bed early. Saturday I went grocery shopping and Andrew went to buy us a riding lawn mower. We spent most of the day cleaning the house.....I was working on the inside and Andrew the outside. We are trying to get everything ready for the baby! Grant will be here soon!! Saturday night we went to eat with Mr. Bobby and grandma Nell. Sunday we went to church and then to eat in Ozark with Mr. Jan. Sunday afternoon the church threw me a baby shower. Everything was really nice and we got lots of great gifts. I'm going to have to post some pics from the work and church shower. Hopefully sometime this week I will find time, along with writing Thank you notes!!

Today I go back to the doctor for my check-up. I'm sure everything will be fine. I do have some question about how everything will work and possible inducing days, since it's getting so close. I will keep everyone posted on what the doctor says! I hope everyone has a great day and stays warm in this crazy ALABAMA weather!

Finally !!

It's is finally time for Andrew to come home. He will be back on Friday. This has been the longest month! I know he is super excited about coming home and getting to sleep in his bed.

Also, this week i'm having 2 baby showers. Thursday afternoon i'm having a work shower. Mom and Aunt NeeNee are coming up to go to this one. Sunday afternoon the church is giving me a shower!

I'm so ready to get baby stuff! Everything is so cute! I'm already super excited about Grant but i'm getting even more excited each day....the closer it gets! I can't believe we are at less then 40 days!

Monthly Doctor Appointment

This appointment they tried to get some more 4-d pictures. This time Grant cooperated much better. He now weighs 4lb 7oz. Everything else went fine at the doctor appointment. I only gained 2lbs this month and I go back in 3 weeks! We are getting close!!

It's about time

Today is Thursday.......

So far, I have successfully made it almost a week without my hubby. I miss him very dearly but I have been keeping myself busy. I usually come home feed and play with the dogs. Then I come in and clean a little or do some laundry. Andrew calls around six on his dinner break and we chat about 20 min. Then I usually eat dinner and watch tv. I do miss him very much when it's time for bed. He calls around 11 when he is on his way home from work. We talk a little while and then I go back to sleep. This is my daily routine while he's gone. The weekends should be very interesting. I think I will be super bored!!

However, this weekend my mom is coming in town. We are going to register at Walmart Sat and eat dinner with Cherish Sat night. We are also going to work on Grant's room. She is bringing the dresser and a closet shelf/organizer. I'm excited to be working on the nursery. I'm going to start having my shower soon and i'm ready to have a place to put everything. I will definitely take some pictures after I get our bedding in.

It's been a while.......

It has been a while since I have updated everyone on whats going on. Lets see where to begin....

Last weekend, I went to visit mom & Scott in Mobile. We went shopping with NeeNee and LA on Sat. We had a really good time and Grant got lots of nice things! It was a good weekend! Also, Andrew painted the kitchen while I was gone. It's sort of a sage green color. Now we just need some new curtains and rugs to complete the new look!

Everything with the pregnancy is still going good. I go back to the doctor March 17th. Grant has been moving a lot lately. Andrew has seen and felt him. This was very exciting for him.

Speaking of Andrew, he is leaving tomorrow to go to work in Connecticut for a month. He will be back April 3rd. It's going to be a long month without seeing him. He is going to make us some extra money before the baby comes. I'm very proud of him for doing this b/c I know it will be difficult being in a strange environment, working long hours, and living in a hotel room. It will all be worth it when he returns. I just pray for his safety and well being while he is gone!

I am very excited about the warm weather we will be having this weekend and beginning on next week! I'm so ready for the cold to be gone. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
